Post Extends Hours for NFL Football Season

There was lots of interest in opening the Post Canteen for this year's NFL Monday Night Football and NFL Thursday Night Football. With that in mind, the Post Canteen will now be open Monday evenings from 6 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thursday evening hours will be from 6 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Two new 32" Smart televisions have been donated to the Post and will shortly be up and running in the Canteen when received.

Please bring your friends and potential new members to the Post and enjoy our beverage choices (beer and wine) and some delicious Indian food offered through Sundara Catering.

The members of VFW Post 7916 in Occoquan, Virginia, have demonstrated a commitment to their mission of “Honoring the Dead by Helping the Living” throughout the pandemic. The Post made sure members received health and welfare checks so that those most at-risk, or in need, received essentials. They also delivered food to residents of the town and donated to a local food bank.
