Mac Herron Morris was born on February 10th, 1922, and passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2024. Mac is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Madge Morris, and his daughter, Barbara Morris.

Mac is survived by his son, Ken (Faye) Morris; his grandson, James Mac (Andrea); his granddaughter, Becky (David) Carson; and four great-grandchildren, Chayton and Brodie Morris, Claire and Jack Carson; his brother, Jimmy (Ruth) Morris; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mac spent three years in the Army as a medical technician during World War II, and after the war, he dedicated his life to the Funeral Services profession. Mac was the founder of Arlington Funeral Home and served his community for many years.

Services for Mac Herron Morris will be held on Sunday, June 2nd, with a visitation starting at 1 pm. Funeral service at 2 pm in the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington. Burial at Columbia Gardens Cemetery to follow.
