March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. To commemorate the event, the Fairfax County Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Fairfax Resolves Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), along with VFW Post #8469 and American Legion Post #177, are sponsoring a community program to honor all Vietnam veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, and individually remember the Fairfax County residents who fell in Vietnam by reading their names.
The event will be held at 11 a.m. at Fairfax Veterans Amphitheater, 10485-10489 Armstrong St. All are welcome and invited to participate in this public commemoration event.
