2024 Raffle Calendars

Quartermaster Jim Bertine - 9/1/2023

The Department of Virginia's biggest fundraiser for Veterans issues through the Commonwealth is the sale of calendars. This year's 2024 Raffle Calendar, Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans, costs $20.00. The calendars are available in the Post Canteen or online through our website.

When you order a calendar online, the Quartermaster will complete the form and mail the calendar to you. All calendar sales and raffle tickets with funds will be sent to the Department no later than December 15, 2023.

For more information on how the raffle works and where 100% of the funds raised through the sale of the calendars go, click here.

Post 7916 - April 2021 #Still Serving Post of the Month

The members of VFW Post 7916 in Occoquan, Virginia, have demonstrated a commitment to their mission of “Honoring the Dead by Helping the Living” throughout the pandemic. The Post made sure members received health and welfare checks so that those most at-risk, or in need, received essentials. They also delivered food to residents of the town and donated to a local food bank.
